Burn Large Files onto a CD

To burn to a CD it is recommended that you place files temporarily on the hard drive, such as in the My Documents folders. Then, from the Programs menu, launch Adaptec CD creator. Choose the option to create a Data CD. Browse to the location of your files and drag and drop them into the Adaptec window. Click on Create CD. Currently all of the black Dell 8100 computers in the Health Sciences library computer lab have CD writable drives.

Browse for the file in the Adaptec program Explorer window.

Drag and drop the file into the CD layout window.

Click on the Create CD button in the menu list.
